July and August are our official "snooze"Ā months. No in-person events, no formal gatherings. Just sun, space, and the sweet sound of not having to be anywhere.
The B-inspiredĀ Community takes a well-deserved breather during this time, and I hope you do too.
So often creativity happens in the "space in between". Growth doesn't always come from the hustle; sometimes it comes from hammocks, hikes, and half-finished books.
There are no in person events happening during this time, nor MasterMinds meetings. All memberships are put on pause and your 6-month period will resume in September.
Ā
ButĀ if you donāt want to go entirelyĀ off the radar, here are a few ideas in which to use the extra space:
- Revisit your āideas Iāll do laterā folder. Delete what is no longer relevant and fall in love with what you were not ready for at the time but now is perfect!
- Make a playful and useful āStart Hereā guide for new clients/followers from the luxury of your sun lounger.Ā

Self-Confidence vs. Self-Esteem - Know the Difference. Own Your Power.
Is your confidence a show⦠or does it go deep?
Most of us use self-confidence and self-esteem like theyāre the same thing. Theyāre not. And knowing the difference? Thatās where things start to shift.

Well⦠here's the real story.
Ā
We just hosted our second Speed Networking event.
Yes, it was:
⨠Fun
ā” Full of energy
š¤ A place where real connections were made
š¬ And I got some lovely feedback
Ā
And stillā¦
Ā
š My communication in the run-up was a bit off.
š I had hoped to hold it outside, the group was large, and indoors felt like a recipe for heat and noise overload.
š Trying to be transparent, I told people to ālayer up ā weāre going outside come hell or high water.ā
š Turns out... hell came with rain and freezing temperatures. š„¶
š The brave ones showed up ready for battle, but understandably, many opted out.
Ā
š Inside, the space just didnāt work as well this time.
š Weād used it before with no issues, but more people, different setup⦠it didnāt flow as well.
š I had to shout. I gave myself a headache. By round three, I gave up and we pivoted to casual networking.
Ā
Was it a successā
Yes. 100%. And Iād do it again.
Ā
Was it smoothā
Nope. And thatās ok.
Ā
I...
Ā I do have a big goal, but it's a long term goal, there is no need for me to try to make it all happen overnight. I was overburdening my nervous system.
Ā
The key was to catch the way I was speaking to myself.
I used to be so harsh on myself, I would never ever speak that way to my friends or family. So why was I being so nasty to myself?Ā
Once I started catching my own tone, how I was talking myself down and bit by bit started reducing the automatism that had crept in to beat myself up, my life changed entirely.Ā
Ā
By being kinder to myself and managing my time and energy better:
Ā
ā Iām calmer
ā I build steadily
ā I show up reliably
ā And I actually feel good on the way
Ā
It's about the journey... isn't that how the saying goes?
Ā
Ambition isnāt the problem, itās how we treat ourselves on the way there.
Ā
In a world that screams
š± MORE
š± FASTER
š± BETTER
Guess what? Since I've started doing that, my business has been doing better too.Ā
I'm less fearful of making a "...
Did you know... there's no clear boundary between Earth and space?
I had no idea until I assisted Claude Nicollier's presentation. He is Switzerland's first astronaut that has been on 4 missions to space, working with the Hubble telescope.
But itās true.
Thereās no sharp line where the atmosphere ends and space begins. Scientists debate it ā some say itās the KĆ”rmĆ”n line at 100 km, others draw it lower, around 80 km.
This is what I'm hearing:
Space is more a gradient than a border.
Like so many things in life, there is no clear cut, definite line
No certainty. No guarantees.
Just trust, teamwork, and a love for what you do, strong enough to carry you through it all and lead you in the right direction
š°ļø The truth is:
There is no clean line between ready and not ready.
Between possible and impossible.
Between who you are and who you could become.
Just like space ā life is not black and white.
It's all gradients, leaps, and floating forward even when youāre not sure which way is āupā.
You've seen my social media posts, you might be on my mailing list but you're not quite sure what it is I do.
Ā
You're far from alone!Ā
Ā
I get asked so often, so how can I actually work with you?
Ā
Like many, I shy away from clearly saying what services I offer way too often.
Here is a very simple and hopefully clear list of ways in which we can work together, if you would like to:
Ā
1. Join the Be Inspired community
It truly is a community beyond networking, People get to know each other on a professional and also personal level. There is trust, restepect, entrepreneurial spirit and wisdom enough to go around many many times.
Join the membership, break entrepreneurial isolation and stay motivated! LINK
2. Create a career roadmap with me to gain clarity on your professional path.
You're in a re-thinking process and would like a sparring partner and a strategist to help you reflect on what you want, dont want and create a lighthouse to guide yourself there.
More about the career ...
When we engage in public discussions, weāre not just representing ourselves, weāre also shaping how others perceive our community and values.Ā
While promoting an upcoming SpeedNetworking event on Facebook, I received some unexpected hostility. My initial reactions were predictable:Ā
ā Defend myself in a public back-and-forth to "prove them wrong"Ā
ā Assume two negative voices represented the entire areaĀ
ā Feel embarrassed by the public criticism - There are several likes!
ā Question what I had done wrongĀ
Ā
But after stepping back, I reframed the situation:Ā
āļø Negative comments from strangers donāt define my experience or love for our areaĀ
āļø Their reaction was more about their own frustrations than my post.Ā
āļø I had control over how I responded, and I made a choice not to escalate.Ā
Ā
Instead of engaging in an unproductive exchange, I simply acknowledged the comment with a ālikeā, and moved on.
No defensiveness, no energy wasted. This approach sent a clear message...
A fresh and flexible update to the events included in memberships is here!
This concerns the membership options that have the workshops included:
- Light: Events only
- Classic: MasterMind group and Events
Hereās how it works: each membership has one main member, but if you canāt make a workshop:
You can send someone else in your place.!
It doesnāt always have to be the same person so it's a great way to share your membership if you choose to.
Just note: this applies to workshops only, not mastermind groups or extras linked to your name.
There are a few great events in the pipeline that you have access to included in your membership, or that you can join as a one-off as a guest.
Whatās coming up?
- Catch Your Saboteurs Workshop ā 12 MayĀ - Helen von Dadelszen
- Canva AI Masterclass ā 4 JuneĀ - Julie de Meyer
- Members' Summer Party ā 18 June
- Self-Esteem vs Self-Confidence ā 23 JuneĀ - Karin Casutt
- Members Film Content Together ā 24 June
