We have recently started introducing challenges for our Tuesday coworking mornings.

At our Tuesday coworking mornings, we’ve introduced a game-changing twist: shared challenges.

It all started when one member declared she’d dedicate the session to tackling her backlog of follow-ups.

As it turned out, she wasn’t alone in feeling overwhelmed by the mounting tasks. Inspired by her initiative, we embraced the idea of challenges as a way to foster focus and productivity.

Here’s how it works: We chose a focus for the morning and communicate it to our members. Be it clearing emails, planning a project, or brainstorming ideas.
The collective energy of the group, paired with a shared sense of purpose, creates an atmosphere of accountability and motivation.
It's of course also possible to come along and work on something unrelated!

Shared challenges help us tackle tasks we’ve been procrastinating on but also reduce the sense of isolation that often comes with running a business. Knowing others ...

Drop in for a drink, meet some great people and grow your network in a relaxed atmosphere. Oh! And there is a quiz for those who love a little game...

These are monthly events held to give us a chance to get to know each other better and dive into the deeper discussions. What does everyone do? How can we help each other? Refer each other? Work together?

"Please tell me in your words how you understand what I do."

Oh and watch out for the seemingly innocent humour that catches you off guard and often makes you do a double take. 

Yes, you probably did hear that right and if you look round to her again you'll see a very satisfactory grin on her face!

Last November for the first time I held a stand at the Forum de la Nouvelle Economie that the city of Gland organises every year.

It was an opportunity to meet so many local businesses and creative people with over 30 stands this year of which B-inspired shared one with Isabelle Nicolas from Prêt à Parler online French courses.

The ambiance was energetic, active and we were all feeling curious to learn more about what everyone else is doing. 

Gland promotes the circular economy, but they don’t just do that. They walk the talk and make a real difference to the local businesses starting up, helping them move pas that initial hurdle of getting some momentum not only with financing but also by optimizing resources and actively creating synergies.
I’m looking forward to our continued collaboration with the Incubateur de la Nouvelle Economie that sponsors members to join our MasterMinds if they choose to!

Welcome to 2025!

I hope you had a beautiful holiday season and that this side of the the new year is looking good for you so far. Rest up after the festivities and enjoy the aftermath and that grin on your face brought on by new fun and heartwarming memories made!

Here is my wish for you this year:

• May you be surrounded by people who lift you up and inspire you.
• May you frequently laugh so much that your jaws and stomach hurt.
• May you make yourself proud in small and big ways every day.

The good news is, making these things happen lies within our control. They are choices we make every day.

As a result, our chances of being healthy, happy, and successful are drastically increased.

Have fun this year; it's a great investment in yourself!

Meet Mirsada Hoffmann! 
She is a parent coach for overwhelmed English speaking parents living internationally.

Mirsada focuses on parents of children who are with a child who is struggling educationally, emotionally, socially or behaviourally and looking for ways to support their child better.

She has been part of the MasterMinds Since November 2023, and is in the Grow my Why group that meet twice a month on Mondays at 14:00 in Nyon. 

As a mom to four, and having lived on three different continents while raising her children, she knows like no other the complexities these transitons bring with it. There are complexities that are difficult to foresee and have a considerable impact on family life and well being. With the proper strategies these can be minimised and managed. They should definitely not be overlooked.
